Registration for membership

How do I register as a member?

Please register on the registration page .

I registered for membership but did not get an email.

Please check that you have entered your email address correctly. Please ensure that you have set your email settings to receive emails from info@japantakumi.com.

Additionally, please check your junk mail and trash folders.

If you still do not receive an email after checking the above, please contact us at info@breeze-trees.co.jp.

About products and shipping

Are all items available for immediate delivery?

All of our items are handmade by traditional Japanese craftsmen and are available in limited quantities, and some items are made to order. As made-to-order items take time to produce, they will be shipped upon completion.

Items that are not made to order may be out of stock depending on when you place your order. We may ask the artist to reproduce the item and send it to you if it is out of stock.

Where are the items shipped from?

Our website is based in Tokyo, Japan. All items are shipped from Tokyo.

Do you do ship internationally?

Yes, we can ship worldwide.

How long will it take to ship my order?

We usually ship within seven working days of receipt of payment, except in the case of made-to-order or out-of-stock items that are being reproduced. Please note that shipping may be delayed during the New Year holidays or busy periods in the workshop. Please refer to the Calendar for working days.

About payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB), Alipay and WeChat Pay are accepted.

What currency is used for payment?

The prices of products on our website are in Japanese Yen, but payment is made in your local currency and the amount is automatically calculated according to Shopify's exchange rates.

What are the payment fees?

You will not be charged any payment fee; this is covered by our website.

Shipping within Japan

Are there any shipping charges?

Domestic shipping is a flat rate of 880 yen (including tax) throughout Japan, except to Hokkaido and Okinawa where it is 1,540 yen (including tax).

Can I choose the delivery company?

Domestic delivery is handled by Japan Post only.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery times vary depending on your location. In Japan, delivery is usually within 7 days after the order is shipped.

Please note that there may be cases where delivery is impossible or delayed due to delays caused by traffic conditions, bad weather or disasters.

Can I specify the date and time of delivery of my items?

We are sorry, but for deliveries within Japan it is not possible to specify a delivery date and time.

International shipping

Are there any delivery charges?

International shipping costs depend on the delivery area, size and weight of the product. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you enter your delivery address in the shopping cart.

Are there any customs charges?

When shipping overseas, you may be subject to customs duties, VAT and other charges. Please note that these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Can I choose the delivery company?

Overseas deliveries are handled by EMS only.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery time depends on your location. For overseas, delivery is usually within 10 days after the order is shipped.

Please note that there may be cases where delivery is impossible or delayed due to delays caused by traffic conditions, bad weather or disasters.

Can I specify a delivery date and time for my items?

We are sorry, but for international deliveries it is not possible to specify a delivery date and time.

About order

Can I make changes to my order?

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to accept any changes for customer reasons. Please make sure you are aware of this.

Can I cancel, return or exchange my order?

Cancellations, returns and exchanges for customer reasons are not accepted after an order has been placed. Thank you for your understanding.

How do I check the status of my order?

Once your order has been placed, an order confirmation email is automatically sent from our website. If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please check your 'spam folder' or register info@japantakumi.com as an address from which you can receive emails. You can also check your order history from your account page. You will receive a dispatch completion email when your order has been dispatched. 

How can I check if I have not received the products I ordered?

For items that have not been dispatched, please contact us by replying to the order confirmation email.

For items that have been dispatched, the delivery company and tracking number will be clearly stated in the dispatch completion email. Please check this and contact the delivery company.

What do I need to do if there is a quality problem with my order when I receive it?

If you find any problems with the delivered items, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the items by email with a photo attached to your email to info@japantakumi.com.

Is there a delivery note included?

The delivery note is included with the delivered items.

I would like to purchase a large quantity, is this possible?

We will need to check the production status and delivery date, so please contact the Concierge Service with your request.
