アメリカのお客様のために製作した、江戸切子のロックグラス~Takumi Japanのお客様~

Order of Edo Kiriko cut glass from the U.S.

Takumi Japan received an order for Edo Kiriko cut glass from the U.S., and when we contacted the artist, he told us that the cup was out of stock and it would take about two weeks to produce the product.

We then asked the customer if he would prefer to have other similar pieces shipped immediately or to wait two weeks for production.

The customer replied that he would wait two weeks, and we delivered the work after it was finished.

This time, we would like to introduce the work that has been purchased and the voices of the customers who have purchased them.

Sparkling rock glass of Edo Kiriko cut glass

Here is the piece the customer ordered.

Old-fashioned glass, Hoshiyarai, Black

This piece features a star design on a yarai, one of the representative patterns of Edo kiriko cut glass.

Yarai is a temporary enclosure made of roughly assembled bamboo or logs. That is, the diagonally crossed patterns are yarai.

The sparkle of cut glass and the image of the stars are perfect.

It is great to be able to communicate with the artisan!

When we contacted the customer, he said, "I don't mind waiting two weeks. It is wonderful that you are able to contact the artist and make this happen. Thank you very much. "

The pieces we offer at Takumi Japan are handmade, so there is a limit to the number of pieces we can produce, and it may take some time for us to ship them.

It is painful to make you wait, but from another perspective, it means that we can deliver a product that was made by a master craftsman for the customer who ordered it. This is perhaps the best part of handmade products.

Although this kind of communication takes a lot of time and effort, we are very happy when we receive such feedback. We will continue to strive to improve the services that only Takumi Japan can provide.
