1970-

INOUE moved to Germany and studied under Mr. Wendelin Stahl,a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. Stahl's works are characterized by their layered graze coatings, which deeply impressed Inoue and inspired him to develop his own glazes, such as green graze called Hekisai-yu, all layered upon each other. His technique exhibits the natural gradation of flowing grazes.
