This is part of the moon series. This sake cup is based on the image of the moon on the night of the tenth day of the month. Using the Zogan technique, a plate of pure gold is attached to silver and hammered in place (Uchikomi Zogan). An iron hammer is applied to the inside and the surface is beaten with a hammer until it is about one millimeter thick, creating a dense and solid sake cup. A perfect accompaniment for moon viewing. The winner of the competition.
