1971 Began 11 years study under Asakura Gojukichi II, a master of the Japanese ceramic world, recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit and member of the Japan Art Academy
1975 Completed the Kutani ware apprentice class
1976 Graduated from Kutani Craft Training School
